Yes. Telemedicine members only talk to actual doctors who are U.S. board-certified internists, state-licensed family practitioners and pediatricians licensed to practice medicine in the U.S. and living in the U.S. When members request a consult, they will be connected with a doctor licensed in their state.

What are some of the common conditions telemedicine treats?

Common conditions include sinus problems, respiratory infections, allergies, urinary tract infections, cold and flu symptoms and many other non-emergency illnesses.

Can telemedicine handle emergency situations?

Telemedicine is designed to handle non-emergency medical problems. Members should NOT use it if they are experiencing a medical emergency.

Can members use telemedicine when they travel away from home?

Yes, members can use telemedicine from anywhere they have a phone.*
